Chair’s Remarks – Welcomed members and thanked all for their ongoing work and reported that the Connected Horsemanship Session had been valuable & insightful.
Managers Report – reported the establishment of the OWLS Multi-Sports Club, and that the formation of the Owls Archery Club was well underway. See Information Leaflets available at RDA Coleraine.
A Meeting of Volunteers to cover general issues & seek feedback will be organised in conjunction with training on Child Protection Issues – date tbc.
Financial Procedures – amendments to the current procedures were approved - details on Noticeboard.
In was noted that the bulk purchase of feedstuffs would be cost effective & feasible – this was approved .
Use of Arena – a ‘Pricing Structure & Conditions of Hire’ document was approved - details on Noticeboard.
A ‘Monitoring & Computerised Booking System’ has been installed & will become operational from April – it provides an electronic/graphical booking system.
It was Noted that members have access to RDA Website – www.rda.org.uk & and that there is a new NI RDA Website – www.ridingforthedisabledni.org.uk
It was noted that Plans are in hand to enclose the Waiting Area to provide an Office & a Clubroom.
Equipment Orders – most has arrived and are in use.
Youth Leader – reported that ASDAN students have been delegated to assist at the Benvarden Fete & Fun Day to be held on Sunday,24th May 2010, from 2.00 – 4.30 pm. A meeting will be held after the AGM to progress arrangements – Volunteers to help with the planning should contact Reception to confirm.
Fundraising
The next Meeting will be held on 11th March – members comments and suggestions are invited.
