Developments at the RDA Coleraine Causeway Coast Arena

The 'old Arena' at 155A Castleroe Road, has been dismantled, and re-erected behind the new Arena at 184 Castleroe Road, as a warm-up Arena.

When completed in March 2012, this will permit the staging of a full range of Equestrian Events.

Special Olympics

Ireland 2010 & Athens 2011

Congratulations to Stephen Yetman of RDA Coleraine - as a result of winning a Gold Medal for Dressage at the Ireland Games in Limerick in June 2010, Steven is the only Ulster Rider who has been selected to represent Ireland on the Special Olympics Equestrian Team Ireland in Athens in 2011

Steven won Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals at Athens. Well Done.

New Year 2011

The Group re-commenced activities on Tuesday, 11th January 2011 - after the worst period of weather there has been for many a year - we have had to close early before Christmas, abandon our Party on two occasions, and travel to the Arena for Horse Care with the greatest caution imaginable. That being said, they Horses enjoyed cavorting in the snow in the fields, if only for short periods (pic to follow).

That being said, our Christmas Fair & Fun Day on Nov 27th, just got in before the snow, and was well attended, raising over £1000 towards the work of the RDA - remember the next event  - the Benvarden Gardens Fete & Fun Day on Sunday, 29th May 2011.
